ABOUT THIS GAME

Last Haven wakes under a red sky. Behind its walls live thirty-one souls divided into five factions — Workers, Soldiers, Intellectuals, Outcasts, and Caretakers — each with its own needs, traits, and hidden agenda. You are the council. Every day you choose how the settlement responds to a crisis, an opportunity, or simply the weight of routine, and the camp answers. The simulation runs on a three-day rhythm: a hard decision that tests your priorities, an event that the world forces upon you, and a status day where the camp quietly tallies the cost. Through five story arcs the haven climbs from a scattered encampment toward one of four fates: a trusting utopia, a disciplined dystopia, a broken collapse, or a weary exodus.

KEY FEATURES

Three-Day Crisis Rhythm
Each cycle moves through a player decision, an event the world delivers, and a status day that settles the bill. The order keeps every run feeling reactive instead of random.
Five Loyal Factions With Hidden Agendas
Workers, Soldiers, Intellectuals, Outcasts, and Caretakers each carry loyalty, needs, and a secret threshold. Let food run low for three days and the Workers will strike. Let a faction drift too far and it may coup, exodus, or build its own underground market.
Resource and Shortage Economy
Five resources — food, water, materials, medicine, and power — each consume against population and produce against your buildings. Fall below a crisis threshold and shortages stack day over day, dragging population, morale, and stability down together.
Five Story Arcs and Four Endings
From Opening Strain to Legacy Reckoning, the haven passes through escalating story arcs. Every run resolves into one of four fates — UTOPIA, DYSTOPIA, COLLAPSE, or EXODUS — determined by your final stats and stores, never by a single roll.
Settlement Evolution
The camp hardens over time, climbing from a Scattered Encampment through Walled Outpost, Hardline Township, and Fortified Haven toward a final Last City-State tier. Each tier changes how shelters, buildings, and the skyline render.
Living Mood and Day/Night Cycle
Four day phases cycle the sky and sun position while six weather conditions — clear, heat, dust, night, storm, and frost — layer effects across the canvas. A mood profile washes the whole scene in color and light that reflects whether the camp is Holding, Hopeful, Severe, or Boiling.
Consequence-Driven Events
Over thirty named events — from bandit raids and famines to acid rain, radio echoes, and oath circles — trigger based on your day, your shortages, your building count, and your faction standings. Delayed effects ripple forward across multiple days.
Persistent Saves
A versioned save writes to local storage after every choice and every day. Return mid-crisis, restart, or let the camp carry on exactly where you left it.
